What to Expect
Our Sunday services are structured yet informal. While most of our members opt for business casual attire, it is not required; we welcome you as you are. Our Worship services follow the Book of Common Prayer, featuring scripture readings, a sermon, statements of faith, prayer, music, and the Holy Eucharist.

Meet the Rector
The Very Rev. Michael J. Bordelon was installed as the seventh Rector of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in August of 2019. Fr. Michael is a native of Alexandria, Louisiana and holds degrees from Louisiana College and The University of the South. Michael is married to Lauren Bordelon. They have two beautiful children, Hollis and Henry. Fr. Michael enjoys summer camp, meeting new friends, practical jokes, and looking for any possible opportunity to talk about Jesus Christ and then making that love real in the world.

Children & Youth
Children and youth are not just welcomed here—they are cherished and invited into a life of faith, joy, and belonging. Our Children & Youth Ministries are designed to meet young people where they are, offering age-appropriate opportunities to worship, learn, and grow in God’s love. From Children’s Chapel to youth group, each ministry reflects our commitment to forming confident, compassionate young people in faith.

Find Your People
At St. Barnabas, ministries and small groups are where faith becomes lived experience. They are places to serve, to pray, to learn, to build friendships, and to discover how God is calling you to use your gifts. Whether you feel drawn to leadership, worship, formation, care, fellowship, or simply gathering in community, there is a place for you here. You are invited to explore “find your people”, and help build the Body of Christ at St. Barnabas.
